![]() Secondly, there is a point in Black Knight in which a triggering event causes a life-threatening situation. It doesn’t follow the timeline mentioned in the earlier books, which is ten years old, and this occurs when these two are eleven. Then one day, Kim and Xan have a level two event on a scale of one-to-ten, he’s cold to Kim and tells her she’s disgusting and hates her. Kim and Xander were besties growing up, completely inseparable. And Xander, where to even start there?Īnd I’m prepared for the rotten tomatoes and voices of dissent but hear me out before you get angry. And much is nonsensical as far as the plotline is concerned. But there is so much of this book re-used from Rina Kent’s other books. ![]() ![]() Lange! Keep on writing.and try your hand at fiction, as well. It's a fast read, because you, as the reader, will feel like you're right there with him. LOL! Hilarious book, and well worth reading. The guilt thing is something I strive to be better at, for my own children's sake. Lange is one funny guy, too! I laughed out loud at some of his chapters, because, even though I'm not Jewish, I could see some of my own family and life in his book. The plot is great for YA books and yet kept me reading to see what happened next (and I'm no young adult.LOL!). What a fun book! I read this in one day, and really enjoyed it. Along the way, the Joker has flashbacks to his early life, gradually explaining his possible origin. As part of his plan, the Joker managed to scam the owner of a run-down amusement park into giving him control, also poisoning him in the process when shaking hands on the deal, revealing that the park was actually Joker's since an hour beforehand thanks to his minions forcing his business partner to grant Joker ownership. The Joker intends to drive Gotham City Police Commissioner James Gordon insane to prove that the most upstanding citizen is capable of going mad after having "one bad day". However, he then realizes the man in the cell is not actually the Joker due to his chalk skin smearing off when he tried to grab him, and demands to know where he is. ![]() He then tells the Clown Prince of Crime that he's been thinking of their battles, more specifically how they're most likely going to end: One of them is most likely going to kill the other, whether it be Joker killing Batman, or Batman killing Joker, that most likely it may happen either sooner or later, and wonders if Joker himself is aware of that. ![]() Batman paid a visit to Arkham Asylum, and specifically to the Joker's cell. Just like the Titanic before it, the Lusitania was considered to be virtually unsinkable. However being an ocean liner for passengers wasn’t to be the reason why it became an important part of world history. While some of Britain’s private steamships had been converted for the war, the Lusitania had no connection whatsoever with the war or wartime maneuvers.
